Detailed Narrative Description of Project and Services Provided:
Punjab Irrigation and Drainage Authority, under the Rehabilitation of Surface Drains component of National Drain Programme has taken up de-siltation of number of drains in three Irrigation zones namely, Lahore, Faisalabad and Sargodha of Punjab Irrigation department. The drains have silted up due to excessive rains / flood events of 1996 and 1997 and proposed to be executed on emergent basis. PCC has been awarded the job of Condition Survey of 128 Nos. Drain Lahore, Faisalabad and Sargodha Zone. The job consists of establishing and fixing of temporary Bench Marks. Observing cross-section in field, plotting and computing the volume of de-siltation, providing the printouts and computer diskette of data. Fixing of control points on site. Observing x-sections in field, plotting and computation of volume of work executive. |
